Black and White Houndstooth Bag

Hardy Street Hobo Bag in Black and White Houndstooth Check. The lining is bright pink with black polka dots. There is one large pocket and one small pocket. Magnetic snap closure.

This is a cute bag! Serious on the outside, Party on the inside!!!!!

Knitting/Crochet project bag

My latest bag. . .can be used as a knitting project bag. Long enough for your knitting needles and will hold several balls of yarn. Also a very cute purse, if you don't knit or crochet!

Zippered Pouches

Here are some little zippered pouches that I made the other day with some of my little scraps of fabric. The perfect use for them!

Wise old owls!

Cute new bag done in Michael Miller's Night Owl fabric in Espresso. The interior of the bag is in a black and white damask patterned fabric. Very cute!

Three bags!

Work in Progress

No pictures today, but there is work going on. I have 3 bags in progress. . .two are identical Little Hardy Street Hobo bags, one is a large Hardy Street Hobo bag. I'm experimenting with an assembly line approach. . .so all three bags should be done about the same time! Not sure it's any faster, but there's not as much thought involved figuring out what I'm doing next! :-) Pictures tomorrow probably!

My new fall bag!

I like this bag so much that I've taken it for my own new fall bag. Of course, I can duplicate it for you if you love it too! It is made in Amy Butler's Trailing Cherries in brown. It is a smaller version of the Hardy Street Hobo bag.

Birds of Norway

I just finished this purse for my friend who loves to go to Cruisin' the Coast every year. Everybody there is going to be asking her where she got that bag! :-)

Custom Bag. . .

This is a bag that a customer designed. . . isn't it sweet? It is a reversible bag made in Damask Bunny in Aqua Sage and Dragonfly in Aqua, both by Tula Pink. If you look closely at the fabric, you can see the bunnies!

Fred Likes Purses!

Fred found a comfy spot on top of several of the purses I've made. He likes purses too! He didn't get to stay there too long though!

The Magic Tomato

Not to take the place of my favorite, Hattiesburg Food Blog, but I just had to share this picture of the Chicago Deep Dish pizza we had at the Magic Tomato tonight. We could only eat one slice each--just loaded with all kinds of good stuff! Takes a while for them to cook it, but well worth it! The Magic Tomato is located in the strip mall just in front of Oak Grove High School. . .check it out!

This bag is actually two bags in one. Completely reversible! Done in a brown twill and Tina Given's Afternoon Play in Marigold from her Chloe's Imagination line, this bag is just great for fall!

Japanese Knot Bag

This is a cute little Japanese Knot Bag. It closes by looping the longer handle through the shorter handle. Great for when you only need the essentials and can be worn on the wrist when you need to be hands-free!

On my work table today

This is the fabric on my work table today-Amy Butler's Wood Fern- Khaki from the Nigella line. I am making a Hardy Street Hobo bag with this fabric. . .the lining will be brown. Check back later in the week to see the finished bag!

Bag of the Day

This bag is a custom order for Brittany. The fabrics are from Kaffe Fasse -- Forest of Arden in Green, and Stencil Carnation in Lilac. Cute, isn't it? She did a good job designing her bag!
